Recent Project : Ben Rhydding – New build house

A project delivered exceptionally well through their incredible partnership and experienced team.

Situated on the main railway line into Leeds and Bradford, The Station House in Ben Rhydding, is a stunning property on its own. When asked to build one exactly the same next door, we jumped at the chance.

A full renovation to the first property included a new kitchen/diner and extension to the back of the house. This resulted in a new family bathroom downstairs and ensuite bedroom upstairs. As well as a new roof, we rebuilt the chimney in keeping with the style of this period property. Our team completed full rewiring, electrical, plumbing, painting and new decoration to every room.  As well as internal work, we enhanced outside with Indian stone flagging and created an additional car park space.

The second property, a new build, followed a brief to mirror the first in keeping with the surrounding neighbourhood. To create more room, we built a distinctive side entrance, which houses the main staircase leading to two character bedrooms complete with a new bathroom upstairs.

These guys have incredibly high standards for relatively low prices. They don’t make foolish decisions for you, they explain thoroughly and make recommendations but don’t let things delay the project. Paul is an impeccable joiner which matches Richard’s expertise in mason work. Together they are superb. I have worked on three projects with them, with this one in particular delivered exceptionally well through their incredible partnership and experienced team. The Station House is a prominent feature in the village, a conservation project with high expectations from the local community.  At the end, we received lots of great feedback from neighbours, impressed with the outcome of both properties.
