RP Wood Construction bring together a team of highly professional and experienced construction and tradesmen, to transform properties for home owners and businesses.
We are Directors, Paul and Richard, who joined the profession through the traditional apprentice route, gaining our skills and credentials in some of Yorkshire’s biggest construction companies. Combining our joinery, building and stone mason work, we set up RP Wood Construction to work on projects we could take pride in.
This continues today with a carefully selected team around us. For our clients, this means one project manager, with the expertise of a whole host of trades to complete the job. A truly bespoke transformation built by a trusted, reliable and experienced team.

Architects, designs and plans
RP Wood Construction work with a number of local architects, either sourced through ourselves or as recommended by our clients.
When starting a project of any size, we advise our clients to seek help in design first, essentially to plan best use and add value to the space they have. Whether it is a kitchen refurbishment or a full wrap around extension, we work from professional plans, designed by experience architects, to create the extra space and dream room you require. In addition, we have access to garden and interior designers who work with our masonry, painters and decorators to complete the project inside and out.
If you have no idea where to start and would benefit from speaking to an architect or designer, please let us know. We will put you in touch with those we know, trust and admire from projects we have worked on. Alternatively, we will work with your preferred choice, arrange a convenient time to view their plans and start the project with their recommendations.
